Did you know our school canteen is run and managed by the P&C?
The Tomaree Public School canteen provides a healthy and affordable food and drink service for students, which complies with or improves upon the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy.
The canteen menu provides a large range of lunch options including hot foods (pies, sausage rolls, pizzas); pastas and noodles; dumplings; fresh chicken burgers and cheeseburgers; an extensive range of design your own sandwiches, wraps and salad boxes and frozen yoghurts. Snack items include salad/ fruit cups, muffins, crackers and chips. Frozen treats including ice blocks, frozen fruit and custard pops are always a hit!
Enjoy our special weekly Sushie days or our Italian Meatball/ Chicken & Gravy Subs specials. We cater for many dietary requirements.
A full menu is available on the Flexischool app and is regularly updated with new items and options.
Canteen opening times
The canteen is open five days a week for lunch.
It also provides breakfast options and drinks before school served from 9am each morning.
Counter service is available between 11.40am and 12.10pm for students to purchase drinks, snacks and frozen items.
A free breakfast club is provided on Monday and Friday mornings and includes cereals, toast, spreads and fresh fruit.

The canteen relies on volunteers each day to ensure we can open and keep menu prices affordable to all.
If you can help for as little as 2hrs (9.30am- 11.30am) please let us know.
It’s fun and the children really appreciate having access to a healthy and affordable canteen.
